Evoke the spirit of Breath by using these simple techniques to connect back to a state of balance and well being. This class will guide you into deep relaxation integrating Breath with Gentle Movement.

This practice encourages you to tap into deeper layers of your body and breath; a place where we hold deep peace and equanimity.

With the guidance of your instructor, you will be led through:

If we take time to listen, create awareness, and acknowledge our unique body, we can gain great insight from within. From the comfort of your own home, take the time to nourish a deeper communication with your Breath and Body, with this supportive evening practice.

As Rachel guides you through this session you can start to build a stronger deeper communication with your body, noticing the many sensations within as we refine our breath. As you practice tapping into this space you can eventually live and function from a place of increased awareness and calm.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

*not necessary but any props to support your practice... ( Blocks, Pillow, Strap, Eyepillow)

Rachel will essentially (pun intended) be integrating the power of Aromatherapy, Pranayama (Breathwork), during a Soulful Guided Vinyasa flow (All Levels Welcome), with the energetic functions and the healing powers of essential oils during your postures. Combined with Reiki, High Vibrational & Healing for a Divine Experience. Rachel combines her fun, creative, and healing nature of inspiring others to reconnect with their emotions by organi- cally threading Holistic Therapies into each practice, opening the doors for you to explore not only your physical body but to open your heart to awaken into a deeper consciousness. Via Olfaction (our smell, nose canal), the aromatics pass through the Blood Brain Barrier, making it accessible to affect emotions and the nervous system as well as its impact on the limbic system (the emotional brain), integrating movement and making this truly a Divine Spiritual practice for all to indulge. Ayurvedic principles will also be embraced during this sessions, the world’s oldest medicinal wisdom, to elevate a deeper understanding of ancient traditions and this integration of holistic health for emotional wellbeing.

Focusing on the themes of self-love and self-confidence with heart-centered practices of Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, Breathing, and Aromatherapy.

Three separate workshops, taught by certified instructors, will guide your teen through the following:

YOGA FOR SELF LOVE

WITH JULIA TETERS: REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER-500 HRS

Moving fluidly through various heart opening poses, as well as poses to help you feel strong and grounded, will help to create a sense of self-esteem and self-love. The class will end with a lovely guided meditation to reduce any remaining stress or tension.

MINDFULNESS & OUR HEART-SENSE

WITH MARIA USEWICK: REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, CERTIFIED MINDFULNESS EDUCATOR

Infusing mindfulness with heartfulness allows us to bring warmth, kindness, and empathy to our experiences, even the challenging ones. Learn about our “heart-sense” and how it can help us relate to life with more balance, steadiness, and compassion. Experience a Heartfulness practice through Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga.
